GPS Speed Sensor

GPS Speed Sensor

The Accutron GPS Speed Sensor is a GPS-based speed sensing solution designed for vehicle and equipment applications where a reliable electronic speed signal is required. Built around a sensitive GPS receiver, it provides stable speed output and is designed to avoid stray coordinates when the vehicle is stationary in weak reception areas.

The unit features a programmable dual pulse output, with a default setting of 4000 pulses per kilometre.

  • GPS-based speed sensing
  • Programmable dual anti-phase pulse outputs
  • Default output of 4000 pulses per kilometre
  • Better than 98 percent accuracy
  • Active antenna
  • Flashing LEDs for lock and pulse indication

GPS Speed Limiter

GPS Speed Limiter

The Accutron GPS Speed Limiter is a GPS-based speed control solution designed for vehicle and equipment applications where operating speed must be monitored and limited. The system consists of two modules: a main control unit containing the GPS and control electronics, and a second unit containing the relay and buzzer outputs. An external buzzer can also be connected where required.

Inside the main unit, four dip switches allow the user to select from 16 preset speed limits. The buzzer activates when the selected speed limit is reached, while the relay switches at speed limit plus 5 percent. Both outputs reset once the speed falls to speed limit minus 5 percent.

  • GPS-based speed limiting
  • Two-box system with separate control and relay-buzzer module
  • Four dip switches for selecting 16 preset speed limits
  • Built-in buzzer output and external buzzer support
  • Relay output switches at speed limit plus 5 percent

GPS Speedometer

GPS Speedometer

The Accutron GPS Speedometer is a practical vehicle instrumentation solution that combines GPS-based speed measurement with a traditional analogue needle display and a digital information screen. It is designed for applications where a clear speed display, odometer-related functions and simple installation are required, without needing an external speed sensor.

The unit is available in multiple versions, including a 140 millimetre model without rev counter, a 140 millimetre model with rev counter, and a 100 millimetre model without rev counter. It offers 12 volt and 24 volt compatibility, reverse polarity and load dump protection, a sunlight-readable OLED display, programmable functions, built-in back-lighting, and an optional overspeed limiter output.

  • GPS-based speed measurement
  • Traditional moving needle display
  • Digital display for speed and odometer-related information
  • Available in 140 millimetre and 100 millimetre versions
  • Optional rev counter version

Virtual Ignition Device

Virtual Ignition Device

The Accutron Virtual Ignition Device is a motion-based ignition detection unit designed for applications where ignition status must be derived without using a conventional ignition feed. Using an internal accelerometer, it detects movement and drives an ignition output line high or low for use with supporting systems.

This product was originally developed for a specific application and the current version operates from an 8 volt supply. It can still be supplied more broadly where that requirement suits the application.

  • Motion-based ignition detection
  • Internal accelerometer
  • Ignition output driven high or low based on movement
  • Simple three-wire connection
  • Useful where a conventional ignition signal is not available
